Contact Us

Sadly, I am contacted frequently by people who can no longer keep their pet pig or pigs? Why I ask? for several reasons....

  • The breeder told me they make great backyard pets, but they don't!
  • The breeder told me it would grow to the size of a small dog, but it didn't?
  • We are moving and can't take the pig with us.
  • We don't have time for the pig any more.
  • We didn't de-sex our pig and now its aggressive and frustrated
  • Our pig is digging every where, it has to go
  • We bought a breeding pair, but they grew bigger than their parents (which we viewed), we are having trouble selling the piglets, please help us find homes for them
  • I am moving overseas.
  • My neighbours are complaining about our pig.
  • Council has told me I can't keep my pig (I didn't know I needed permission to keep one)
  • Our pig has 3 nose rings and is still digging, we can't keep it anymore.
What ever the excuse is I've heard it, but sadly for these pigs, we have become a throw away society, so if you have it in your heart, please if you are THINKING ABOUT GETTING A PET PIG - PLEASE CONSIDER ADOPTION or RESCUE, there are plenty that need loving homes.
