Potbelly Pigs and Kune Kune Pigs

There are no Vietnamese Potbelly
Pigs in Australia and probably never will be, due
to our very strict quarantine laws. Potbelly pigs
are not as small as you think. A typical, full grown,
potbellied pig can weigh from 50-115 kilos, though
the majority of them are somewhere between 50-80 kilos.
Their height varies, some are 50cm high at the shoulder,
and others are less.
There is no importation of live pigs, frozen semen
or embryos into Australia. Even Kunekune Pigs from
New Zealand are not permitted here. |
